Wow! I can't believe 2020 is actually over. This year has been uncertain, scary, and challenging all at the same time. I was unsure how I was going to get through this year worried about my families health or possibly myself. My faith was really tested the most, I really had to confide in God even more. By doing so it made me more closer to him. As soon as the pandemic hit my entire life changed, I was furloughed from my job, the job I was suppose to receive was no longer available, I moved out of my apartment because I was planning to relocate. My life did a one eighty in seven days. During those few months I was furloughed I was living back at home with my parents. Who would have thought during the same time I was furloughed right when I was suppose to relocate I would be living back at home. God placed me there for a reason, I remember my father saying, "When will I ever have all my daughters living under one roof again?' That always stuck with me and I understood why God put me there. This was God's way of protection. My conclusion for 2020 is to know we are not in this alone. We have each other and God to confide in. May the new year bring you health, happiness, and prosperity.
Below is my top five blog post for 2020.
February Girls Chat: Having Faith No Matter Your Circumstance
Faith is not hoping that God can, it's knowing that God will.
How do you have faith in your own circumstance?
How do you balance faith in your life?
You should know my answer!?
Prayer. Prayer. Prayer.
I say this because that's what saved my life. Prayer is what leads your inner faith. That night at the hospital I looked at my mom and said, “I'm ok!" I new God protected me in that moment. No words could explain how powerful that feeling really was. The Bible says, "According to your faith let it be done to you." (Matthew 9:29)
Remember you determine your own faith. God's blessings depends on the size of your faith. My circumstance proves how strong my faith really is.
I bet you're thinking, “Well? How did I get there?” I have six steps that I try to follow:
1. Feed your faith through the word. Pray and ask God for his help and allow him to direct you on your path. Say a prayer and just see where it goes.
2. Actions. Reflections on what you see within yourself anything you do in life is a reflection of what you’ve learned.
3. Allow your faith to be bold. Your bold because you’re faith. You are allowing the Holy Spirit to be with you.
4. Free your faith from negativity. Negativity is doubt which is Satan. Demand the negativity to go away. Only you have the power to uplift yourself.
5. Believe what’s impossible is possible. For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. (Luke 1:37)
6. Sharing your faith with others. As you share the faith you have in common with others I pray that you may come to have a complete knowledge of every blessing we have in Christ. (Philemon 1:6)
Knowing God's outcome is always the best outcome.
How do you have faith in your own circumstance?

Where Does Your Faith Lie?
How are you feeling? With this pandemic going on around the world. Personally, my emotions have been everywhere. I have felt scared, alone, nervous, and just worried about my loved ones. Until I bring myself back together through my faith. The best way to get through this is to only focus on the things you can control and not the things you can't.
I have a key to share with you on how to get through this pandemic is PRAYER. Prayer is what builds up your faith. If we come together to help each other through this, we will come out together and stronger.
All I ask from you is say to say this prayer aloud to yourself:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for helping us get through this difficult time. Thank you for carrying us through this uncertainty time frame through the deep waters, trials, the pains of these hard losses we have been going through. You have not left our side at all. We are constantly aware of how much we really need you, your strength, your grace, and the power you really have.
I ask you to give us the strength and faith to get through this hard time. Please forgive us for giving too much attention to other things, rather then looking to you first. Thank you for allowing us to take the time to reflect again.
I ask for you to help others around me and myself to remember the gift of Christ. I ask you fill us with joy and peace of the Holy Sprit. Direct our hearts, spirits, and souls towards you.
We choose to get through this with you and with you only. Without you we will surely fail but with you all things are possible. Thank you for allowing the Holy Sprit to take over. Thank you for the healing power and bringing us together for this season. We will get through this in Jesus Name.
We love you!
Amen

How do you Uplift Yourself During a Hard Time?
How do you uplift yourself during a hard time? How do you respond in your moments of defeat? Think hard and evaluate on how you respond towards situations. The way you react defines the type of person you are. When you can improve your ability to navigate during negative times you become a happier person and you develop yourself as a better person. I am writing this because personally I need some uplifting in myself. With the good and bad moments of 2020 I wanted to try an help uplift others.
1. Prayer
Take time to develop your relationship with God. Ask God to uplift you as a person and help guide you during this hard time. When you confide in him you’re developing your faith and trusting in him. Say a prayer and see where it can go.
2. Learning From Difficult Times
When I find myself in a negative situation I take the time to dwell in it and meditate. I take it as self reflecting. I like to pick everything apart and see what went wrong and what I could’ve done differently. I always end up learning from it so I’m able to get a clear picture of what I need to make sure I can be a better person.
3. Focus on What You can Control Not, What you Can’t
Sometimes things happen that are just beyond our control. You might as well just except the circumstance. If not you’re just setting yourself up for frustration on things you can’t control. Focus on the things you can control because that’s how you can make a change and also help your growth. Maybe you should make a list of things you can control and put all your focus on that and see how far you get.
4. Creating Your Community
Having the right people around you is some of the most important things you can do in your life. You should always surround yourself with people who are loving, caring, honest, and who support you no matter what. I believe in the saying you are who you hang out with.

Discovering the Will of God
How do you discover the will of God?
Understanding Your Calling
Discovering God's will and calling can be challenging. You want to identify your spiritual gifts. God created each of us with special talents. He has also given us unique powers through the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:11
Our spiritual gifts are a serious indicator of what God expects us to do for Him.
The way you find your spiritual gift is to think about, what brings you joy? Seek out ways through your community. For example, what brings me joy is helping others in need. I decided to create a nonprofit because that's what God called me to do.
Live Actively
Don't wait for God to show you, ask him to guide you and take action. Only you have the ability to take action but it doesn't mean you have to do the journey alone. Each person on earth is designed to fulfill a unique purpose during your time on earth. Not only it glorifies our father but brings you great joy.
Nurture Your Calling When you are obedient to your calling he will reveal his will to you. Remember, you are held accountable to nurture that will. Ask Yourself... When was the last time you opened up to God? Are you seeking God's purpose? Ask God to show you his will for your life? He will help and guide you in the right direction. Jeremiah 29 12-13 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Your Most Important Relationship
The most important relationship should always be with yourself because no matter what happens, you will always be with yourself.
"The better you know yourself the better your relationship with the rest of the world."
Toni Collette
Remember, how you treat yourself is how you will treat others. Your relationship with yourself is the foundation of everything else.
Five Steps Towards Self Love
Make peace with your insecurities
Acknowledge your insecurities and forgive yourself. We are all human and its ok to question your insecurities. By removing the judgement towards yourself, you are acknowledging your insecurities. I am writing this because I chose to a allow a certain circumstance happen in my life AGAIN. I would normally beat myself up for the decision I made. You have to learn not to allow that situation to happen again. Remember, your own insecurities will become and obsession if you continue to feed it.
Discover what important to you
Discovering what's important in your life is so amazing to find. Switch your focus and write down your top three things that are important in your life.
God
Family
The Women's Confident Movement (My nonprofit)
I say these because these are the things that feed my soul. These are the things I deserve the opportunity to focus on. What's your three things that are important to you?
Live intentionally
What's your purpose and meaning in life? Why are you on this earth? Is your decision making supporting your future? Knowing your purpose and meaning in your life is the most amazing feeling. Because I know God has given me a purpose in life, I never feel lost in my path. When you set your actions to live with your purpose you will know the meaning for your life.
Set Boundaries
Giving yourself boundaries by saying no to activities and interactions its showing your self love. Sometimes you just need those few moments for yourself and that's ok. If you have people in your circle who stress you out and bring you down, you don't need them. Learn to create your space and evaluate your relationships and decide who do you want in your tribe.
Practice self care
"Oh my favorite!" Practicing self care is something everyone deserves. Nobody in there right mind is to busy for self care. It's very simple, nourish yourself. Commit to excising, nutrias diet, getting enough sleep, and social interaction. When you show yourself love through actions you will always make yourself a priority. It will set your foundation for your growth and living life towards your fullest potential.
“Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.”
Beyonce
Cheers to 2021!
